+ USF students and staff get into the giving holiday spirit
Students and staff at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee recently donated holiday toys to 47 local elementary children in need, along with food baskets for 30 families. Starting in November, an angel tree was placed on campus that listed the names of students in need from two local elementary schools and included their holiday wish lists. After several weeks of gathering bikes, dolls, video games and food, the gifts were donated. The USF Student Government Association organizes the project.
