  • "Prosperity" has a nasty habit lately of leaving a lot of people out. There are those who have prosperity and those who have no prosperity, unless holding down two jobs for half a living while paying a surprisingly high tax bill is prosperity.

    We need to start wanting "fair" taxes rather than wanting "low" taxes. In some cases fair and low are not the same thing.

    We need to start seeing the connection between wealth and poverty, and seeing how wealth creates poverty. Not that it will make any difference until we find a way to separate wealth from politics while preserving freedom of speech.

    No, I don't have the answer. But I think it is important to know that there is a set of questions.
