- One thing that I don't like about Rubio is that he is for the so called Fair tax. Let me give you a bit of advice, if some proposed legislation is named fair or patriotic or some other warm fuzzy sound name run from it because it probably very dangerous.
Although the fair tax does eliminate the dreaded income tax and all other federal taxes, and that's good. But the fair tax creates a 23% national sales tax, that's not good.
First, the sales tax is designed to raise the same amount mount of money that is currently raised. Have you asked you self why would we need to raise the same amount of money? Most every thing that the federal government does is unconstitutional, so why do we need to raise money for unconstitutional actives?
Also, the fair tax applies ONLY to new products that means that the new product industry would be put out of business.
