- Once more New England "Traffic Circle" horrors are put forth, mistakenly described as "roundabouts." Concord, MA Rt 2 is a large obsolete "traffic circle" with little in common with the modern roundabouts coming to the Bayfront other than it is round.. The Lynn, MA,"traffic circle" at the junction of Rt 1 and Rt 60 is even larger. See them both on Google Earth. And learn the difference between a "traffice circle" and a "roundabout" at www.SarasotaConnectivity.com, click "How do roundabouts differ from older traffic circles and rotaries." Let's compare apples to apples.

Marathon runner returns to Sarasota

Sarasota resident John Pyle, who is known for running marathons with a large American flag, has finally returned from his 83-day, 3,144-cross country run from San Francisco to Key West. -

More than 120 Sarasota Crew rowers and their families gathered at the Ritz Carlton Sunday, May 20, to celebrate the end of a successful season. The team has enjoyed victory at the district, state and regional levels and is preparing to head to Tennessee for nationals.
