Sarasota County contractors will close the left eastbound lane of Webber Street between Beneva Road and Lockwood Ridge Road beginning today.

Hundreds of skaters and members of the community filled Payne Skate Park Sunday, April 21, to celebrate the life of Coach Dan Giguere, who was killed in a car accident this February. Giguere was a skateboard enthusiast and teacher at Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences, and many young skaters came to celebrate his life.
