- How about dogs in stores? I've seen dogs (not service dogs) in grocery stores and one at a drug store that was licking the candy in the display with its owner standing by and not doing anything. I don't buy candy off the bottom shelves any more. These are not places for pets.
We live in the Arlington Park neighborhood and moved here because of the park. But we don't use it because of all the dogs there. People do not police their dogs, and some of the dogs are not trained to be in public with other dogs and people. I like dogs, but the owners need to take responsibility for their behavior.

- A meaningful discussion. Let's also discuss dogs at the Saturday morning farmers' market. Another safety concern involving the mix
of people and dogs and, in this case, food.
