Most of the major improvements to Selby Five Points Park are expected to be complete late this afternoon.
The Downtown Improvement District funded $142,000 to the project, which is designed to attract more users to the downtown park.
The re-grading, irrigation, landscaping and paver work will be finished today. Grass will also be planted and two of three sculptures will be placed today. The third will delivered in mid-December.
A Christmas tree will be planted today and will be the centerpiece of a holiday lighting ceremony Saturday, Dec. 4.
