More than 2,000 doses of the swine-flu vaccine have arrived in Sarasota County.
The FluMist nasal spray will be made available through private pediatrician offices and is only being offered to healthy people between ages 2 and 49.
The county is expecting to receive more shipments of FluMist nasal spray each week.
Higher risk patients, such as pregnant women and children under 2 will need to receive an injection, and the county health department expects those vaccines to arrive later this month.
