For drug-sniffing dogs, the nose knows.
That's what 25-year-old Brett Mattson and 35-year-old Shirden Coe learned when the Manatee County Sheriff's Office arrested the pair for trafficking in marijuana Sunday, Sept. 22, at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Deputies discovered more than 60 pounds of marijuana spread throughout four peices of luggage, according to a probable cause affadavit.
"Noeska," a Sheriff's Office drug-sniffing dog, picked out the four peices of luggage, which contained 56 vacuum-sealed packages of pot.
