Part of the argument in defense of Christopher "Jay" Childers was that the former officer's actions were not aggressive and that he had used the appropriate force to keep Gomez-Perez on the ground.

- What a fantastic result. Wrongly accused and served a harsh punishment. You have not deserved the hand you were delt but well done for fighting for the truth. Police officers work so hard to protect the community and people 'judge' them! They put their lives on the line for us. This man shouldn't have had to fight in the first place. Hannah, London, Uk
