The Humane Society of Sarasota County is running so low on canned dog food that its cupboards are bare.
Due to several finicky eaters and canines with special needs, the society has made it a mission to collect canned dog food donations.
General supplies, such as animal crates, Clorox and baby wipes, Ziploc bags, blankets, hand soap, etc. are also welcome.
Donations may be dropped at the shelter, located at 2331 15th Street. For more information on donating supplies, visit www.hssc.org/donate.html# or call 955-4131.
