The man suspected of robbing a Sarasota 7-Eleven Wednesday, Sept. 4, turned himself into authorities less than 24 hours after the incident.
Fabian Morrison, 21, and members of his family approached the front desk at the Sarasota Police Department at 11:30 p.m., to admit to the robbery of the convience store on North Washington Boulevard.
Morrison had demanded cash from a clerk at the 7-Eleven after 5 a.m., and brandished a stick. He told the clerk not to call the police, and he would eventually repay the money. He fled with an unspecified amount of money.
