- KEEP THE PARKING METERS AS FAR AWAY FROM DOWNTWN SARASOTA AS POSSIBLE.....
HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO UNDERSTAND WE NEED TO BRING PEOPLE DOWNROWN AND NOT SCARE THEM AWAY?
OUR ECONOMY IS SLOW AND OUR CITY OFFICIALS ARE ONLY LOOKING INTO WAYS TO MAKE THINGS FOR THE MERCHANTS MORE DIFFICULT TO SURVIVE.
MAYBE IS TIME FOR THE MERCHANTS TO RECONSIDER IF SARASOTA IS A PLACE TO DO BUSINESS AT ALL... LEAVE IT TO THE CITY OFFICIAL AND HAVE A NICE LINE-UP OF RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING METERS WITH NO SHOPS... I AM SURE THEY WILL HAVE BUSS LOADS OF TURISTS AND LOCAL COMING TO SEE THE EMPTY STORES AND RESTAURANTS WITH SIDEWALKS ADORNED BY GREAT LOOKING PARKING METERS!
