Area supporters of the current Egyptian government gathered Friday afternoon on the bayfront to protest the Muslim Brotherhood and the United States' involvement in Egypt.
Pleas were made to President Obama to stay out of Egypt.
“We would like to educate the American population, hopefully this will reach the White House …. we ask Mr. Obama ‘hands off Egypt!’” said Dr. Asaad, a Tampa resident originally from Cairo.
