• The following information was stated incorrectly in the Aug. 20 story, “Sarasota Ballet announces its 2009-10 season”:
 

The ballet will perform Scottish choreographer Peter Darrell’s “Othello,” not Adam Cooper’s revival of “Othello.”
 

French choreographer Andre Prokovsky’s ballet, “Vespri,” will return to Sarasota Feb. 19 to Feb. 21, not Prokovsky himself, who died Aug. 15.
 

The company will perform Renato Paroni’s “Rococo Variations” April 2 and April 3.
 

The company will end its season with Balanchine’s “Donizetti Variations” April 23 to April 25, followed by the world premiere of a new ballet choreographed by principal dancers Kate Honea and Octavio Martin, as well as Matthew Bourne’s 1989 spoof, “The Infernal Galop.”

• In the Aug. 20 issue, we incorrectly stated in the Cops Corner “The customer is not always right” that the defendant “kept pushing the deputy.” In his police report, the responding officer stated: “The defendant kept pushing off of me.”

• Richard Thomas, a former Sarasota Ford employee who is suing the dealership and Rep. Vern Buchanan, claims in his lawsuit that $1,000 was taken from his paycheck and donated to George W. Bush’s campaign. A story in the Aug. 20 issue incorrectly stated it was donated to Buchanan’s campaign.
 

Thomas’ lawsuit also seeks damages from a failed business deal, among other things.
