At 5:30 p.m. today, a Boeing B-787 test aircraft will land at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The aircraft is departing from Lima, Peru. It will be leaving SRQ between noon and 2 p.m. Saturday and will be headed to Seattle.

Viewing of the aircraft will be open to the public from the area at the southeast end of the SRQ ticketing wing. Parking is available in the short-term parking lot.

Track the plane’s flight statues at www.787flighttest.com.

  • It was 44 minutes late. They parked it about 1000 feet from the fence. You got 20 minutes free parking. If you went over 20 minutes you had to pay. My ticket was 27 minutes.

Anyone who wants to see the show for free, just go to the lot across from the Honeywell building on old 301. Save the $2.
