On the Diane K Salon & Spa website, hair designer/colorist John-Norman Tuck’s bio says that: “Tuck loves to paint masterpieces with his clients’ hair.” With more than 30 years experience, he is a self-described “visual” person and says that he gets his creativity from his mother’s family — his grandmother was a German visual artist and, his mother was a professional window artist. That artistic influence has been absorbed in more ways than one, as shown in this painting Tuck completed of a Sarasota sunset. On his website, artbyjohnnorman.com, a quote on his homepage declares: “Life is temporary, color is forever, art is eternity.”
