- Let me get this right - we don't have enough money in the budget to pave the streets according to the mayor, but we do have enough to spend almost $1 million for a consultant. I must have missed that math class.
The more things change - the more they stay the same. Every commission for the past 40 years has put our tax dollars to work on lipstick and rouge and have forgotten the basics.
