Sarasota County sheriff’s detectives have made an arrest in a series of restaurant burglaries in South Sarasota.
Michael Hare, 38, was charged with five counts of burglary, two counts of grand theft and two counts of petit theft.
Between May 21 and June 1, Hare allegedly broke into several restaurants by throwing a rock through the front window, including Millies Restaurant and The Serving Spoon on Clark Road, Alibi Café on Swift Road and Peaches Restaurant on South Tamiami Trail.
