Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtiss Ave., will be closed for a second consecutive day Friday, May 29 because of a massive power failure.
Power was lost to the air conditioner, computers and checkout-scanning equipment at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Repairs had been expected to be complete Thursday, resulting in the re-opening of the library today. But the repairs are taking longer than expected, and the library will remain closed today.
