Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputes arrested a man they believe molested an 11-year-old girl in a Sarasota Walmart.
According to sheriff’s office reports, an 11-year-old girl wandered away from her mother at the Walmart store on Cattlemen Road May 8. A man saw her standing in an aisle, approached her and grabbed her buttocks. He then thrust his pelvis into the girl. The man then paid for some plastic utility mats and drove away from the store.
Cesario Jasso-Carrizales, 39, was captured after a woman said she recognized him in surveillance photos that had been distributed to the media.
The woman said Jasso-Carrizales worked for her husband.
Deputies found the suspect’s truck, which appeared to be the same one in the surveillance video. Inside the truck they found a Walmart receipt from May 8, as well as the utility mats the suspect in the video purchased.
Detectives said Jasso-Carrizales admitted to fondling the girl, and he was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation.
