A man with tattoos on his arms and a knee brace walked into a South Sarasota gas station, bought a soda, and slipped a lost wallet into his pocket earlier this month, according to an April 24 news release.
This morning, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office released photos from the surveillance camera at a BP gas station on the 4900 block of South Tamiami Trail. Deputies have asked the public for help identifying the white-haired man suspected of stealing a wallet reported missing April 11.
Anyone with information should call Criminal Investigations at 861-4900.
