Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies and Sarasota Police officers carried the torch in the 30th annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Friday, April 19.
Members of the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and local Special Olympics athletes began the run along U.S. 41, at Beneva Road, before passing the torch to the Sarasota Police Department at Paradise Plaza on South Osprey Avenue.
