At Say It With Stitches, Owner Ann Davy and business partner Elizabeth Van Riper offer customers a creative way to purchase monogrammed and custom-made clothing in a snap with their colorful showroom.
“Most of our work is custom,” Van Riper said. “We carry a line of imported customizable baskets, unique ribbons, beautiful lingerie and robes that can be monogrammed. It’s a very different experience shopping here.”
In addition to adorable baby items, blankets and throws from Barefoot Dreams, the shop also features an array of elegant, silk wraps and jackets — perfect for a night out at the opera or orchestra — corporate logo-wear, hats and promotional products to aid businesses in their marketing efforts. Say It With Stitches also sells etched glassware, monogrammed wine glasses, and family gifts. The shop even carries several lines of clothing and accessories that are either organic or made with Eco-friendly materials and processes.
“My favorite task is personalized gifting,” Van Riper said. “It’s helping businesses evaluate what their goals are and finding the best way to achieve them with products and the branding of their business. I just shipped 25 robes to east coast, which we embroidered with the yacht’s name.”
