The Sarasota Council Of Neighborhood Associations Interest (CONA) has invited the three run-off candidates in the Sarasota 2013 commissioners-at-large race to its April 8 forum at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Blvd. of the Arts, Sarasota.
The Tuesday, March 12 primary left Susan Chapman, Suzanne Atwell, and Richard Dorfman as the top vote-getters. All three will compete for the two open seats in a runoff election May 14.
“With less than two months in which to campaign, this opportunity for debate will be important to find out more details about the platforms and positions of the three remaining candidates as two are chosen by voters to fill the open commission seats,” said Kafi Benz, in a press release. Benz is a director of CONA and will be a forum moderator.
The meeting is open to the public.
