The restaurant chain Culver’s is considering opening a family restaurant on the east side of U.S. 41 between Hyde Park and Datura Streets. Approval will require a land use change.
The owner of the property has attended Arlington Park Neighborhood Association meetings to let nearby residents know about the plans, according to Arlington Park Neighborhood Association President Rick Farmer.
This would be the first location in Florida. Culver’s currently has 400-plus restaurants throughout the country with a concentration in the Midwest. According to the restaurant’s website, the chain added 28 new restaurants countrywide in 2012.
