- It is sad to see people you know who are homeless.
I have known Joel for almost 40 years, he is a very hard worker!
He is also very talented with wood work, making anything from jewelry boxes to backgammon tables, etc....
- This guy has been begging for a LONG time. As long as he gets money, he will stay where he is. I have been a Sarasota resident for a long time and see the able bodied guys, drinking away money they receive or spending on drugs. Once they are dependent on being on the dole it is a vicious circle. A work program has to be put in place to get them on the right track. I cannot believe people throw money away which doesn't help them at all
