As part of an annual project called The American Authors Breakfast Club, English 11 honors classes at Cardinal Mooney dressed as their favorite authors, prepared a table display of memorabilia from the author's life and impersonated them while explaining the display to classmates.

Selby Gardens hosted its fifth annual Mother’s Day Brunch and its Garden Music Concert Series Sunday, May 9, featuring music by The Venturas. Everyone found a comfortable spot beneath the shade to lounge on lawn chairs and blankets and enjoyed the day with family and friends.
