+ Tasti D-Lite to hold sweet celebration
Technically, Sarasota got its first taste of Tasti D-Lite in May. But this weekend, the frozen-dessert store is sweetening up the season with a grand-opening celebration. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at noon Friday, Nov. 13, at the St. Armands location, 327A John Ringling Blvd.
Free Tasti D-Lite will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, at the St. Armands location and the Westfield Southgate Mall, 3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
