The mask-making frenzy started early today at Bird Key Yacht Club as members swiftly dug their hands through boxes of lace, funky, flowered fabrics, ribbons, beaded necklaces, jewels and sequins to design the most outrageous mask for The Masque Ball, to be held Saturday, Oct. 31.
