Oak Park School held a dedication ceremony today for new playground equipment provided by six area Rotary Clubs. The equipment, located on the north side of the campus, includes sunshades that are erected over the ADA-accessible play area. The shades will keep the playground cooler by blocking the suns rays.
“We thank the Rotarians for their unbelievable service,” said Assistant Principal Phyllis Frederic. “(They have given) time, money, tears, sweat … students will benefit so much from their assistance.”
