He’s a one-man tour-de-force who has captivated circus lovers around the world. As Circus Sarasota and the Ringling Museum of Art come together to present Circus INcognitus, Jamie Adkins will take the stage, bringing humorous and bold performances for the entire family as a clown, juggler, balancing artist and acrobat now through July 19. Adkins currently stars in Cirque du Soleils WINTUK at Madison Square Gardens in New York City, N.Y.
“We are thrilled to partner with Circus Sarasota for the third year in a row,” said Dwight Currie, associate director of programming at the Ringling Museum. “This electrifying performance will join the ranks of other circus performances we’ve brought to the Historic Asolo Theater stage to date. I am confident Sarasota will fall in love with Jamie Adkins.”
Performances will be held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursdays; 2 and 7 p.m. on Fridays; 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 and 4 p.m. on Sundays at the Historic Asolo Theater. Daytime performance tickets cost $10 for children and $12 for adults. General admission for evening performances is $13. For more information, call 360-7399.
