  • Good article. Barefoot running is great for healthy folks who ease into it over time. I enjoy running barefoot most days on Siesta Key beach. There is an informal celebration 5Km jog for International Barefoot Running Day at 9:00am from the Southern most lifeguard hut ( yellow) on Siesta Key beach on May 1.
