Armando defeated Braswell 7-6, 6-7, 10-6 in front of a capacity crowd of 140 fans.
Armando will return to action April 7 against Attila Savolt, a new area resident and former ATP No. 60 in the world player, or future ATP star Jordan Cox.
The next event in the Exhibition Series will be held Feb. 10, at Payne Park Tennis Center. Local tennis directors Nate Griffin and Travis Eckert will face Dave Siddons and Adam Zastempowski.
