About 50 juniors from The Out-of-Door Academy headed to Booker Elementary School to get to know the school’s children better.
On Dec. 3, ODA students who visited Booker each were paired with a kindergartner for the Buddy Project. ODA students brought lunches and gifts, spent time with the children and got to know each child by doing an art project with them, making up songs and other doing other activities.
