The city is holding a community workshop to get input on a possible public-private development at 1440 Boulevard of the Arts (the former Community Garden) in the Rosemary District.
A plan to add on-street parking in the district will also be discussed.
The meeting will be held 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at City Hall.
City Manager Tom Barwin has called the possible Boulevard of the Arts development a “catalyst project” for the area. “We want to be proactive for when we begin to emerge from the recession,” City Manager Tom Barwin said Monday. “There aren’t any preconceived notions on what the redevelopment could be. We want to hear from the community as far as what they would like to see with regard to a catalyst project for economic development.”
