WEEKEND BEST BET: Sarasota Bay Water Festival

The Sarasota Bay Water Festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ken Thompson Park.
The event is free and fun for all ages, featuring live music, local food vendors, a photography contest, children’s activities, water-sports demonstrations, gift vendors and more.
The theme is, “Enjoy the Bay!” The three areas of focus include bay recreation, bay science and education and bay creative arts.
