After a lively and entertaining Halloween fundraiser performance of “Thriller” at Fright Night on St. Armands Oct. 31, the Sarasota High School Drama Guild is continuing fundraising efforts for its spring production — but is $5,000 short.
The guild is asking local supporters, parents and corporations to get involved by making donations or becoming corporate sponsors to make the show a reality.
The Asolo Repertory Guild will rate the 2010 show. Such ratings aid students in receiving scholarships or bragging rights at auditions.
For more information, or to become a sponsor, call 915-4590.
UPCOMING EVENTS
• An interactive Murder Mystery performance will be held at 7 p.m., Dec. 8-11, on the Sarasota High School stage.
• Sarasota High School Drama Guild has a show choir available in December for groups in search of holiday cheer.
