- I think loop routs would serve a wider area but obviously would more than double the cost due to increased miles of track. Love the streetcar consept. Know how attractive it was in Pittsburgh, PA. I miss it.

- Will the fixed-track system work with the brick paving the DID wants to put along Main Street? Although this is a nice idea, it seems that we are always looking to do "special" projects and ignoring the day-to-day that needs to be done. I would like to see the city streets paved - which has not been done recently. Lipstick & rouge always seems to take precedence over basic infrastructure in this city.

- This is a great idea to knit together various places in downtown Sarasota. Downtown is a destination. People should be able to park once and use this "horizontal elevator" to expand the walkable area of downtown. However, KEEP IT SIMPLE to start. Learn what works and does not before making it too big, complicated and expensive. Remember, if you try to please everyone - you please no one.
