- Commissioner Barbetta is leading the charge to mitigate the 2050 plan while criticizing City Commissioners who want to be included in the conversation. CONA help elect him elected good thing they're working to block evil agenda.
- HMMM...Did the development of the 2050 master plan for downtown urban development factor in global warming and the predictions that within a century the homes in Gillespie Park will be waterfront or perhaps only the newly built 3rd stories will be inhabitable? Perhaps we should be looking at how to relocate downtown to East of 1-75.
- 2050 is urbanism run amuck. You can't dictate what people want, you can only tell them what they can't do and then they will vote with their feet as has happened to Sarasota County. Folks have simply gone to developments that offer what they want in other counties.
- Trash the 2050 plan. Individuals working with their developers should determine fulfill their own desires and not those of some faceless "central planners."
