The Sarasota County Parks and Recreation will re-open Knight Trail Pistol and Rifle Range at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28.
The range was suspended Oct. 1 due to legislative changes that required the removal of local rules at the range.
“Customers of Knight Trail Park Pistol and Rifle Range will see little change,” said Carolyn Brown, general manager with Sarasota County Parks and Recreation. “We will continue to be one of the best publically owned ranges in the state with the same hours of operation, same prices and the same county staff.”
The hours of operation at the range are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For more information, contact the Sarasota County Call Center at 861-5000 or visit www.scgov.net and search “Knight Trail.”
