- Sad, quite sad. Some people just have no idea how positive the impact is of having that team and organization a part of our City is. They will positiviely impact our area so much with events and just general life at that stadium and most people that are opposed have no idea how much revenue that brings our area with people from outside the Sarasota region visiting our area, eating, shopping, staying in hotels which all brings our area income, that without this team, we would never see.

Marathon runner returns to Sarasota

Sarasota resident John Pyle, who is known for running marathons with a large American flag, has finally returned from his 83-day, 3,144-cross country run from San Francisco to Key West. -

More than 120 Sarasota Crew rowers and their families gathered at the Ritz Carlton Sunday, May 20, to celebrate the end of a successful season. The team has enjoyed victory at the district, state and regional levels and is preparing to head to Tennessee for nationals.
