The offenders ranged in age from 18 to 66, but they were all arrested for the same crime: Retail theft.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office with support from Manatee County deputies made 30 arrests from Sept. 18 through Sept. 26, as part of Operation Booster Buster II. The program, which focused on stores in north Sarasota County, was aimed at reducing retail theft.
Sarasota County deputies conducted a similar program earlier this year that netted 59 arrests.
