Sarasota County sheriff’s deputies are searching for the man who robbed a bank in Osprey Sept. 24.
It’s the third bank robbery in Osprey in the past three years.
The man entered the Trustco Bank in the Southbay Shopping Center, demanded cash and implied that he had a gun.
He’s described as a white man, about 30 to 40 years old, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a slight goatee.
The man got away with an undetermined amount of money.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 861-1719 or leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers at 366-TIPS (8477).
