- All this rain should make an even bigger mess ("swamp") than the contractors for the public beach parking/renovation/new retention pond project have already made. I would suggest that the county get the mosquito control people lined up and ready!! There are no trees, no vegetation, no nothing there but dirty brown water and remnants of vegetation. In other words, al LOT more standing water in which the mosquito population can multiply.
