The Historical Society of Sarasota County’s board of directors appointed Arnold Berns as executive director of the non-profit organization Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Berns has assumed daily management operations of the 1882 Bidwell-Wood House and Crocker Memorial Church, scheduling events and establishing strategies to benefit the care of these historic structures.
The Historical Society of Sarasota County furthers the public’s familiarity with Sarasota’s history by sponsoring tours and special events. For more information, visit www.HSOSC.com or call 364-9076.
