The West Coast Florida Region of AJC (American Jewish Committee) will honor Michael Klauber and Phil Mancini of Michael's On East in November.
Klauber and Mancini will receive the celebrated Civic Achievement Award for years of supporting the community.
Through donations, contributions and partnerships, Klauber and Mancini have given back more than $1 million to Sarasota and Manatee nonprofits.
"Our community is looking forward to honoring Michael & Phil for their professional achievement and civic-minded leadership," says Brian Lipton, regional director of AJC West Coast Florida. "For over 25 years they’ve been committed to helping nonprofit organizations in our community and they are longstanding supporters of AJC."
Past recipients of the Civic Achievement Award include Teri A Hansen, president and CEO of Gulf Coast Community Foundation in 2013 and Margaret Callihan, CEO and president of Suntrust Bank.
The dinner will be held on November 19 at Michael’s On East. For more information, call 365-4955.
