Film industry publication the Hollywood Reporter has ranked Sarasota’s Ringling College of Art and Design as one of the 25 best film schools in the world.
“It is especially gratifying to be ranked as one of The Hollywood Reporter’s 25 best film schools in their first inaugural list as we have just graduated our first four-year students from the Digital Film Program this May,” said Dr. Larry M. Thompson, president of Ringling College of Art and Design.
Ringling College placed 23rd on the Hollywood Reporter’s list. The publication consulted filmmakers, executives, industry insiders and film-school graduates and asked them to rate schools based upon alumni, cost, facilities, industry access and strength of faculty.
