U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan is inviting East County and neighboring residents to speak out this Saturday.
Buchanan, U.S. representative for Florida’s 13th District, will hold an “America Speaking Out” town hall at 11 a.m., July 24, in the first-floor chambers of the Sarasota County Administration Center, 1660 Ringling Blvd, to involve residents in creating a new policy agenda for Congress.
“The American people are angry,” Buchanan said. “Career politicians in Washington aren’t listening. ‘America Speaking Out’ gives the American people an opportunity for their voices to be heard.”
Doors will open for the event at 10 a.m.
