Throughout July, The Children’s Garden is teaching kids about the magic of gardening with its summer camp. Kids will take nature walks, learn about animals, insects and birds, and even get to make believe they are pirates, fairies and hobbits for a day. The garden also offers reading day camp with art projects, illustration of the story and drama performances of selected book scenes. The Observer spotted the following kids hanging out in the garden in between camp sessions and caught up with them to chat.
